Dare Boutique hosted its grand opening on March 1st, 2010. This nouveau boutique, located in Cherry Hill, NJ, specializes in teen and tween fashions, bat mitzvah, cocktail, casual wear and accessories. Owners Debora and Beth are excited to bring their vision to life of creating a comfortable, better yet different shopping experience for mothers, daughters, sisters, grandmothers, and friends as they pick out that perfect look for a special night.

Medford Panther Players presents: BEAUTY AND THE BEAST- March 18, 19, 20 & March 26, 27.

Medford’s finest 6th, 7th and 8th graders put on a fabulous production of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. These incredibly talented students enchanted their audience and brought to life the Belle’s village and the castle of the beast. Hard work and enthusiasm shined through their smiles as they sang, dance, and acted. Congratulations to the cast of Beauty and the Beast on a wonderful production!

Volunteers of America- Oscar Night

A night with the Stars for a great cause!

I was afforded the opportunity to photograph Volunteers of America’s Oscar Night 2010 at the Loews Hotel in Philadelphia. Volunteers of America (VOA) is a humanitarian organization that provides immediate and long-term solutions to benefit individuals and families to save them from being homeless. The funds raised at Oscar Night were used to offset funds needed to secure funding from the federal Department of Housing and Urban Development. All proceeds will help support homeless families’ shelters and VOA’s campaign for homeless veterans known as “Home for the Brave.”

It was a fun-filled night with entertainment by celebrity impersonation of Prince, Cher, Liza Manelli, and Tina Turner provided by IN A MAN’S WORLD and Joan Rivers performed by Linda Axelrod. Pennsylvania’s largest winery, Chaddsford Winery provided the adult beverages as media sponsor ABC News interviewed the participants in Hollywood Oscar style.

If you want some good looking teeth with smarts you need to check out Segal and Iyer Orthodontics. I had the opportunity to photograph Dr. G. Ross Segal, Dr. Monisha Iyer, and their staff at their Marlton office. Dr. G. Ross Segal earned his dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania, orthodontic program graduate from Temple University, and has a Master’s degree in oral biology. Dr. Monisha Iyer earned her Doctorate degree in Dental Medicine (DMD) from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and was nationally recognized by the American Association of Orthodontists with the Thomas M. Graber Award of Special Merit for her Masters Research work.
