Whenever I photograph either a wedding or a kid, I always think of them as becoming part of my family. In the case of Elizabeth Diamond Shirley, I photographed her wedding and then photographed her son Cole (see the post of Cole in the portrait archives).

After years of working for Toll Brothers Elizabeth decided to take the entrepreneurial plunge and start her own business. That business is I Do! Boutique. Taking her love for events and creativity Elizabeth started her new venture.

I Do! Boutique has a collection of invitations, custom favors, bridal shower gifts and hotel guest gift bags with your “local favorite goodies”.

I met Jaclyn Smith (not the Jaclyn Smith of Charlie’s Angels, if you are old enough to remember) when my I first moved to Medford and she was an instructor at another dance studio. My daughter was in her class and have been friends ever since.

Recently I photographed some of her students at her studio Core Academy of Movement. I have always been amazed by dancers and I love to photograph them. Jaclyn hasn’t been doing too much dancing and instructing these days. She is just about one month away from having her first baby. Hopefully I will have some photographs of the baby in the near future to post here. In the meantime enjoy these fabulous dancers. By the way, Jaclyn and I both have a love of big dogs. She has two Mastiffs and I have one.

Close friends of my family, Mike and Kim, just had a new baby November 18. Today I got a chance to meet him and take a few photographs. Newborns are just wonderful to watch. I am sure I will be photographing Brennan many more times in the future.
